One of the few left, Joe Wadkins is a native Las Vegan. In his many years living in Las Vegas, places like Hollywood and Nashville have lured him away to take his songwriting to another level. All through his childhood creating music was a passion for Joe….being able to hear music like few of us can, Joe started playing piano as early as nine years old. His natural talents came easily but Joe understood the hard work it would take for him to excel in the Music business. In high school Joe was a football star but his passion for writing music took control of his motivation and he enrolled at the University Of Las Vegas Nevada and studied Composition and Theory to continue to perfect his craft.

At the young age of 21 Joe packed his bags with a dream and his smile and headed for the hills. The Hollywood Hills that is, to conquer Hollywood and become an actor/singer/songwriter. While in LA he pounded the streets, received his SAG Card and landed a few roles. He began an internship with Dick Clark Productions and continued to follow his dreams.

His travels to sunny California unfortunately were short lived. All changed when he was given the news that he was going to be a new daddy. Joe always believed in becoming a “Daddy” and not just a “Father” of a child. He then packed his bags again and headed back to the desert with a new dream upon him… that of being a father. His life as a father did not stop with one little Boy, within eight years he had four beautiful boys to call his own. Austin, Dillon, Dakota and Alec. Joe hopes that they too will continue to be proud of their dad as his dreams unfold and for them to realize to never give up on their passion for something you love to do.

Following in his fathers footsteps Joe became an entrepreneur at a young age and when he took the plunge to move to LA he left behind his first company, a concrete construction company in the family field. Upon becoming a dad, being a upcoming starving musician could not pay the bills so Joe excelled in the Concrete world and had a long successful run in the construction business before he changed gears and opened a new Business in Sports Fields in Synthetic Turf. Taking Las Vegas by storm Joe was blessed to become and considered one of the leading Synthetic Turf experts in Las Vegas which lead him to work for some of the best resorts in Las Vegas, like City Center, Wynn Resorts, MGM, Pallazzo, Towne Square, Ritz Carlton and Challenger Schools and was even awarded the beautification project for the Las Vegas Strip.

The old saying; “follow your dreams” has always weighed heavy on Joe’s heart. His truest passion after all the wisdom he has learned throughout his life is song writing. His trips to Nashville and Los Angeles have fueled him on a writing level and he continues to write and express himself with the piano under his fingers even after a long days work. To date Joe has hundreds of songs that he has written and is showcasing them to the world one by one. The most special being “Mother’s Day”, a song written for his mother, his biggest advocate and fan. Before his mothers passing Joe promised his mother that he would never stop pursing his dreams of writing and singing his music and now even with her gone she still is the reason he continues to strive to be the best. You now will be able to enjoy his music on You Tube or his personalized website and if the fates allow maybe one day we will all hear one of his many songs on our radios. Joe believes that “Music is the Soul of Language” and his life experiences are expressed through his music. As Joe continues to take song writing with serious devotion as he has everything else in his life we all hope that all his dreams will finally come true.
